  3.    Visas: All US citizens are required to have visas to enter
  4. Argentina. No inoculations are required for entry.

  6.    Climate and clothing: Climate ranges from the hot,
  7. subtropical lowlands of the north to cold and rainy Tierra del
  8. Fuego in the south. The seasons are reversed: the weather in
  9. January in Buenos Aires is like July in Washington, D.C.;
  10. weather in July is similar to that of San Francisco in January.

  12.    Health: Competent doctors, dentists, and specialists are
  13. available in Buenos Aires. No particular health risk exists,
  14. and no special precautions are required. Tapwater is safe.

  16.    Telecommunications: International services are adequate;
  17. however, long delays in placing international calls may occur
  18. due to the overburdened system. Certain sections of Buenos Airs
  19. have direct international dialing. Most provincial cities and
  20. Uruguay also can be dialed directly from home and business
  21. phones.

  23.    Transportation: Buenos Aires' Ezeiza Airport is serviced by
  24. many international carriers, with flights originating in the
  25. US, Europe, and other Latin American cities. Buenos Aires has
  26. an extensive subway and bus system. Taxis are plentiful.
  27. Outside Buenos Aires, travel by train, air, bus or auto.
